PLUMBER WITH MULTI-SKILLING (Level 2)

The successful applicant will undertake a wide range of duties whilst providing a responsive repair and maintenance/installation service to residential properties within Blackpool.

To join the team, you must possess an NVQ Level 2 construction trade skill certificate (or equivalent) in plumbing, along with experience of carrying out multi-skilling work, including tiling, patch plastering and joinery. The ability to carry out skills outside of your specific trade area is necessary and these are detailed in the skills matrix within the person specification of the job description.
Excellent communication skills along with a sound knowledge of Health and Safety are essential. You will also have the ability to work as part of a team and possess accomplished organisational skills to plan and prioritise workload, working to deadlines and agreed targets. Experience of working with Housing Associations and managing repairs is desirable.
You must hold a full, current driving licence, as a company van is provided (for travel to and from work and for use during work hours only).
Please note, a satisfactory Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check (formerly known as CRB) is required for this position.
Makita power tools are supplied by BCH, however you must have your own hand tools. PDA and personal safety device supplied, (with BCH suppling the necessary training on the use of these devices).
