Clients in sectors like Pressure Equipment and Pressure Equipment Assemblies depend on our team to audit their management systems, providing assurance of compliance and risk management aligned with EU Directives.
As a Lead Auditor, you will verify management systems, focusing on EU Directives and UK Regulations, with a primary emphasis on the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations (PE(S)R).
You'll conduct risk-focused audits, make certification decisions, and bring a strong working knowledge of the PED to effectively audit clients' quality systems.
This role offers a healthy blend of client site visits, travel, and flexibility to conduct remote audits when required.
Job requirements:
* Degree qualified (or equivalent experience).
* Recent experience in third-party auditing of management systems.
* ISO9001 Lead Auditor experience.
* Strong knowledge and experience with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations (PE(S)R).
* Understanding of codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
* Welding knowledge is desirable.
* Ability to manage client relationships effectively.
* Strong communication and decision-making skills.
* Proficient in completing audit reports effectively and efficiently.
* Willingness to travel when necessary.
* Flexible and proactive attitude.
