Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Services
o Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
o Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying reservations and processing payments.
o Provide accurate information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions.
o Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
2. Reservation Management
o Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system.
o Coordinate with other departments to ensure special requests, such as early check-ins or specific room preferences, are fulfilled.
3. Administrative Duties
o Maintain accurate records of guest information, room assignments, and billing details.
o Prepare reports on room occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback for management review.
o Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages professionally and efficiently.
4. Collaboration and Teamwork
o Communicate effectively with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
o Assist in coordinating guest arrivals, departures, and transportation arrangements.
5. Upselling and Revenue Maximization
o Promote resort amenities, services, and upgrades to enhance guest experiences and drive revenue.
o Offer personalized recommendations for dining, spa treatments, and activities within the resort.
6. Compliance and Standards
o Follow all resort policies, procedures, and brand standards to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
o Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or tourism education preferred.
* Previous experience as a receptionist or in a guest-facing role, ideally in a luxury hotel or resort.
* Proficiency in using property management systems (e.g., Opera).
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
