Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Complex Care & Commissioning Team, Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Service Group, based in Glanrhyd Hospital. We are looking to recruit part time (30 hours per week).
The successful candidate will need to be able to organise and prioritise their own workload and work on their own initiative. They should have good numeracy skills, office administration experience, and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Experience of working in Mental Health & Learning Disabilities is desirable but not essential. If you are driven, enthusiastic, and suitably qualified, this post will offer an exciting new challenge. Full training will be given.
Main duties of the job
1. Providing comprehensive administration support to the Complex Care and Commissioning Team.
2. Providing and distributing reports for specific areas of work to the relevant teams.
3. The post holder will process documents accurately and as directed by the manager, demonstrating self-directed development and practice of administrative systems.
4. When required, arrange meetings and associated paperwork, taking and transcribing minutes, distributing agendas, paperwork, and approved minutes effectively in a timely manner.
5. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
* Educated to Vocational Level 3 in a relevant subject or able to demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge, skills, and experience.
* ECDL or equivalent.
Knowledge
* Good knowledge of MS Office Suite.
* Thorough understanding of office procedures.
Experience
* Experience of transcribing and minute taking.
* Experience of dealing with confidentiality, sensitive data, appropriate maintenance, and storage of records.
* Experience of communicating with all levels of professional staff and the public.
* Demonstrate experience of working in a busy office environment in an administrative capacity.
* Experience of maintaining data in a logical and organised manner.
Aptitude and Abilities
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure in a challenging and demanding role.
