Prepare accurate cost estimates and valuations for a range of repair and maintenance works, using detailed measurements and specifications. Manage the tendering process, including the preparation of tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts to secure the best terms and conditions. Administer contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, including managing variations and change orders. Track and report on project costs, identifying any potential financial risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing professional advice and updates throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and contract variations. Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements.About the Candidate: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically in voids, retrofitting/decarbonisation or repairs and maintenance projects for local authorities or similar sectors. Strong abilities in cost estimation, financial management, and contract administration, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, actionable insights. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
