Salary: 70,000 - 70,000 GBP per year Requirements:
* You must hold either DV (Developed Vetting) or SC Security clearance to apply for this role.
* Experience in Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cloud, SQL, and Python / R is essential.
* Proven experience working on government projects related to MoD / Security, or within the Water industry, is required.
* Strong programming skills evidenced by previous work in data science or software engineering, including experience with standard libraries for data science (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
* Generalist expertise across the entire data lifecycle including data strategy, governance, risk and ethics, architecture, and modeling.
* Experience in technology implementation, particularly data on the cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Proficiency in data modeling of any type: conceptual, logical, dimensional, or physical.
* Extensive experience in completing complex data analysis and ability to create proposals and provide recommendations based on analysis.
* Solid knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, and the ability to develop new algorithms.
* Ideally, you will have some proven predictive modeling, forecasting, or analytical experience, with strong SQL, Python, and R skills.
Responsibilities:
* You will design and implement algorithms for research evaluation, leading projects in collaboration with product and technology teams to build and deploy new data pipelines and models.
* Collaborate with the Product team to develop products based on new data pipelines and evaluation models.
* Create data visualizations in partnership with technology teams and champion data quality and integrity.
* Highlight data quality issues and suggest appropriate solutions.
* Share knowledge and best practices in analytics and modeling while mentoring team members.
* Design tailored data strategies and implement transformational changes to enable organizations to generate value from their data efficiently.
* Translate data strategies into realistic and agile implementation roadmaps to deliver value quickly.
* Shape the program of work and support the successful delivery of large data and AI programs with our data and technology experts.
