As Audience Development and CRM Officer for Leeds Town Hall and Leeds Ticket Hub (LTHUB), you will be a creative and motivated communicator who can identify, target, and develop audiences for the city’s best loved venue (reopening in 2026 following a major refurbishment), and LTHUB, the city’s biggest cultural ticketing provider. You will support the Audience Development Manager in the strategic direction and management of LCC’s procured cultural database and ticketing system Tessitura.

Job Description
Job Purpose
To support the Audience Development Manager on all aspects of audience development through Leeds Ticket Hub’s ticketing and CRM platform Tessitura for all LAEV content. Working with the Audience Development Manager, lead on the promotion of Leeds Town Hall, Leeds International Concert Season and Leeds Ticket Hub’s (LTHUB), marketing, communication, web, and digital strategies.
Responsibilities for Grade
* To raise the awareness, profile, and promotion of LTHUB and work closely with the Leeds Museums and Galleries team on cross marketing opportunities with Leeds Arts, Events & Venues partners. Support the delivery of the overall cultural programme across services.
* To raise the awareness, profile, and promotion of Leeds Town Hall by coordinating and implementing targeted event specific promotional campaigns as required, including writing and approving of event copy, creating/overseeing the design and printing of all promotional material and event advertising.
* To raise the awareness, profile, and promotion of Leeds International Concert Season by coordinating and implementing promotional campaigns as required, including digital communications, overseeing the design, and printing of all promotional material, and event advertising.
* To coordinate the day-to-day management and continuous development of the LTHUB, Leeds Town Hall, Leeds International Concert Season websites in compliance with service directives, corporate governance, accessibility, and legibility standards.
* To identify, create and implement engaging content for LTHUB and Leeds Town Hall supported by the Audience Development Assistant, and for Leeds International Concert Season supported by the Music Officer and Arts Promotions Officer.
* To evaluate and review all marketing activity and audience engagement practices through audience surveys, monitoring ticket sales, analysing data and producing evaluation reports.
* To deliver marketing campaigns within set budgets as authorised by the Audience Development Manager and raise purchase orders in accordance with LCC Corporate Procedure Rules and financial management systems.
* To work closely with internal colleagues to support the wider promotional, marketing, communication, and ticketing functions of LTHUB and the Arts, Events & Venues service.
* To work collaboratively with the Central Communications, Visit Leeds, Leeds Inspired and Digital Access teams to oversee the development and placement of event specific campaigns across various council platforms including planning, updating all editorial content, and ensuring information is correctly and legibly displayed, supported by the Audience Development Assistant, Music Officer, and Arts Promotions Officer.
* To explore and build strong relationships with a wide range of external partners and key city stakeholders including, but not limited to, Opera North, Leeds Heritage Theatres, Leeds Playhouse, and Leeds International Piano Competition.
* To line manage the Audience Development Assistant with all aspects of their day-to-day work and support other colleagues where appropriate.
* To work with the LTHUB Systems Officer on the day-to-day management of LTHUB’s CRM database, Tessitura, and be the LAEV lead on WordFly email platform.
* To assist where required in the live event delivery at Leeds Town Hall including working unsocial hours and weekends.

* To contribute to team, cross directorate and service activities and initiatives as required and / or to undertake any other duties as required that are commensurate with the nature and level for this post.
Qualifications A Level 5 (Diploma, NVQ or equivalent)
