Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: Southampton Pay rate: £90 - £130 per day (Depending on experience) Start: Immediate or Easter 2025 Contract: Full-time, Permanent GSL Education are looking for an experienced and flexible Supply Teacher to join a welcoming school in Southampton. Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher: Deliver lessons in a variety of subjects and year groups across different schools. Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher and maintain classroom discipline. Provide support to students to ensure a positive learning experience Manage classroom behaviour effectively and encourage student participation. Communicate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity in learning. Adapt to different teaching environments and subjects, depending on the needs of the school. Required Qualifications for a Supply Teacher : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching in various school environments. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to quickly adapt to new lesson plans and school cultures. A passion for education and helping students succeed. A proactive approach to professional development and learning. Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
