We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer to join our dynamic team at London City Airport, The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, using their expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across the airport. This position requires an individual with a strong background in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering and hands-on experience working with CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) systems. To carry out planned maintenance in accordance with London City Airport, Building Services PPM task schedules. Production of technical and situational reports as required. Provide first line out of hours call out for the site. Writing activity and safety reports in line with Company procedures accurately and timely Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team. Investigate faults, identify root causes of faults and prepare accurate and timely reports on plant and equipment failures and communicate findings with all relevant stakeholders. To escalate any major site issues or incidents to Building Services management team To manage Integral sub-contractors whilst working on site Understand and be aware of the requirements of all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation and are equally aware of own role and responsibilities within the Company. Ensure that all materials and equipment are handled, stored and used with due regard to the relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. Actively participate in London City Airport health and safety processes, policies and procedures including, accident investigation, reporting, risk assessments and auditing Undertake all works in accordance with safe working practices, quality standards and conform to best practice methods. Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements. Work within a culture of continuous improvement within the shift organisation and work in partnership with other shifts so as to achieve a consistent and efficient operational output KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Recognised industry standard NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a 17th or 18th Edition Experience of working with asset/work management systems such as CONCEPT / CAFM systems.
