GLRF Secretariat Manager\n\n£50,788 - £52,805 per annum\n\nLocation: Tri Service Centre, Quedgeley, Gloucester\n\n This is an exciting opportunity to join the Local Resilience Forum (LRF)\nSecretariat in Gloucestershire.\n\n**About The Role**\n\nThe Local Resilience Forum is a partnership of category 1, category 2,\nvolunteers and other partners who work together to ensure that Gloucestershire\ncan effectively prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies.\n\nWe are seeking to appoint a LRF Secretariat Manager to facilitate the work of\nthe LRF in Gloucestershire. This will include working closely with the above\npartner agencies and Central Government to ensure Gloucestershire meets its\nrequirements under the Civil Contingencies Act (CCA) 2004. It will also\nrequire the successful applicant to support the LRF chair and executive board\nand coordinate multi-agency work at the national, strategic and tactical\nlevels through an understanding of CCA command and control arrangements.\n\n**About You**\n\nThe ideal candidate will have experience of working in a LRF, the ability to\nforge strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and\nevidence of supporting partner agencies to respond to the demands of shifting\npriorities and unplanned events.\n\nWe are seeking an individual who is educated to degree level (or who can\ndemonstrate equivalent experience), self-motivated and able to use their\ninitiative.
