About the Role
Protocol Education are looking for a specialist SEN school committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, empathetic, and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with SEN, i ncluding those with autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour and learning difficulties.
* Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Support students with personal care needs, where necessary, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
* Promote positive behaviour and provide emotional support to students when required.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
* A caring and patient nature with a passion for inclusive education.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* The ability to adapt to the varying needs of students.
* A willingness to undertake training and professional development.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.
