Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Procurement Manager to join our Procurement function, managing a range of Indirects categories and procurement of selected capital projects. What you'll be responsible for: Effectively managing a range of Quorn's Indirects categories, with specific responsibility for Logistics, Engineering and Marketing, alongside a range of other Indirects categories and selected capital projects. You will be tasked with developing and executing appropriate procurement strategies. Ensuring that the best commercial terms are achieved whilst also mitigating risk factors, you will ensure chosen suppliers deliver the required service levels to the business to fully support the multiple internal stakeholders. A background of procurement within these categories is desirable, as you will have full responsibility for sourcing, negotiating commercial terms and relationship engagement of all key suppliers within your portfolio. The position will be predominately based from our Leeds office (Thorpe Park, LS15) circa 2-3 days per week along with needing flexibility to travel to other Quorn sites/suppliers when required. There is also the opportunity to work flexibly/remotely when required. What experience you'll need to have: - Presentable background in a Senior level procurement role - Best practise procurement ability within categories such as Logistics, Engineering and other Indirects - Knowledge and background of duties such as; supplier sourcing, cost analysis, negotiation, contract drafting, risk mitigation and supplier relationship management - If possible, present a relevant CIPS qualification - Understanding of both UK and Global supply chains - A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn The recruitment process: Every application will receive a response regardless of being successful or unsuccessful.
