You will be a highly skilled APP witha background of working withlong-term conditions andproven musculoskeletal skillsalongsidea passion to engage and motivate others. Youwill hold proven pain and musculoskeletal assessment and treatment skills. In addition, you willrecognise the importance of working collaboratively within theMulti-Disciplinaryteam andhaveprovenexperience of service development.
Effective, patient centred care is an essential need in the current times and this post offers a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, compassionate care to this patient group.Working as part of an integrated service alongside colleagues from the acute sector you will work at a Primary care levelfacilitatingspecialist treatment of both Long-covid and chronic pain within individual and group environments.
The role may be suitableas a band 7 to 8a development post on completion of relevant competencies.Consideration may be given to part time ifappropriate.
To provide high quality carein individual and groups sessionsto patients who have been referred to the IPASS/BLIS servicewith Chronicpain, spinal painor have been diagnosed with long covid.
To work alongside highly skilled practitioners and be supported in gaining a wide range of skills in pain management,long covid and spinalassessment andtriage
To offer supervision and training to the MSK Physiotherapy team as well as the wider MDT
To work collaboratively with members of the MDT including Physiotherapist, Psychologists, Consultants and Occupational Therapist
