Packaging Project Client Rep – 2 Years Fixed Term Contract

This is a site-based role at Worthing.
At our GSC Worthing site, we have a proud heritage in global manufacture of oral antibiotics (solid dose and dry powder suspension), The site also manufactures bulk export material for use at other manufacturing sites in our network.

As the Client Rep you will be first point of contact for all operational decisions, accountable for providing regular feedback back into the production areas whilst ensuring requests from the business are taken through the appropriate project governance.

In this role you will:
* Embed GPS principles (e.g. Operator Standard Work / GEMBA / Process Confirmation / 5S) into new equipment and process design to eliminate waste, productivity constraints and reduce downtime.
* Accountable for operational signatories associated with validation documentation, line layout diagrams, and writing of User Requirement Brief (URB).
* Develop and deliver a comprehensive training plan for all operational staff on new equipment and materials, ensuring that knowledge gathered throughout the project is built into up-date documentation and knowledge share guides.
* Communicate Operational readiness requirements and feed into existing capacity and models and resource plans, flag downtime requirements to SPR/SRM through project sponsor.
* Update all operational documentation including training materials, SOPs, SWIs, logbooks, proforma, and batch packaging records, focusing on simplification and removal of non-value add checks and confirmations.
* Support product portfolio optimisation by ensuring harmonisation of new pack artwork, regulatory alignment, and approving pack change notifications, and co-ordinate line trials with MSAT and Engineering representatives.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Degree level qualification (or strong equivalent experience) in an appropriate discipline which must include Operations experience. Thorough operational knowledge of packaging unit operations.
* Strong ability to manage and influence stakeholder at site and the wider business.
* Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated Project Management skills and experience, particularly on major technical and/or capital projects.
* Detailed experience of Quality by Design and risk management approaches, including FMEA, RCA and technical risks assessments
* Proven capabilities in enabling and driving change, delivering solutions, developing people, and building relationships across multiple interfaces and in a matrix environment.
* Experience in Operational Excellence tools, and use of process performance metrics.
