The role is to specifically manage the strategy and delivery of the Mechanical, Electrical and Telecoms station change at Colindale. The scheme will be transitioning the station in a staged manner from an existing to a temporary state, then into a new permanent stage & fully commissioning.
We need an experienced individual who has worked with LU and is familiar with their standards and managed station upgrades for both capacity increase and the provision of step-free access. You will need to be capable of working collaboratively with our supply chain and LU to deliver the M, E & T works as efficiently as possible both in design and construction.
This role would suit an ambitious, driven individual who embraces the challenge of working within a high-performing and supportive team. Experience within the civil engineering industry is essential for this role, ideally coming from a main contractor background.
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Mechanical, Electrical and Telecoms station experience
* Degree or HNC/HND qualified in a relevant technical discipline
* Awareness of the issues and processes within the customer’s service areas
* Knowledge of all aspects of legislative compliance, including employment law, health and safety, and environment
* Good understanding of commercial issues affecting project performance and experience in assessing value / evaluating variations of construction works undertaken
