About the role: You will join the Online Distribution team to coordinate the performance management of both internal and 3rd party processes to ensure that customer delivery is achieved on time, every time. Reporting to the UK Parcels Manager and working closely with the rest of the Online Distribution team, your key objective of the role is to complete and act upon various daily, weekly and seasonal reports on carrier operational KPIs. You will gain a full understanding of UK operational processes currently in place at Next’s warehousing complexes and our third party carriers throughout the UK by making site visits to review any issues. By reviewing processes and collating the inputs, outputs and associated data, you will be able to analyse the strengths & weaknesses of each process to then support with corrective actions and continuous improvement. As we continue to grow and evolve, you will be supporting new project implementations across the network using your knowledge of the day to day operation and 3rd party carrier processes. About you: You will be an excellent communicator, with a proven ability to build strong working relationships as the role involves working with multiple teams and senior managers within Next and with our carriers. You will possess strong data analysis skills and be able to identify common trends and themes and report your findings to the senior team. Strong IT skills notably with Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel are essential, along with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience within a warehousing, distribution or supply chain role would be advantageous.
