The team
The Transformation Management Office is responsible for ITV's ongoing transformation, on behalf of the Management Board. We work with teams from all across ITV, driving the delivery of programmes and making sure we're prioritising the people side too.
The role
We are recruiting for a Business Change Manager to join our Transformation Management Office; this team is responsible for ITV's largest transformation initiatives. We work with teams from all across ITV, driving the delivery of programmes and making sure we're prioritising the people side too.
This role will lead on Business Change activities across various initiatives in Sales Operations, in particular a Salesforce project and the Rights and Content Sales transformation programme (RACS), which has been established to transform the way ITV systemises and exploits rights. This is a highly complex transformation that touches every part of ITV's business and will drive significant transformation to processes, ways of working and technology over the coming years.
As a Business Change Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering the business change approach. You will use best practice principles for managing the delivery of Change, Communications and Training using a colleague-centric approach.
Key responsibilities:
* Owning the overall business change strategy, approach and plan for both RACS and Salesforce, ensuring the deployment of Change reflects a colleague-centric ethos and resonates with the audience.
* Owning the overall messaging and engagement across Sales Operations, working with peers to drive a coordinated approach.
* Leading the delivery of the business change plan to budget and time; coordinating delivery timelines and managing interdependencies with the Programme Director; containing and resolving issues within the programme governance.
* Managing a team to deliver key Change, Communications and Training activities, tailored to the areas and roles affected.
* Designing and managing a process to measure the readiness and effectiveness of business change (including adoption); implementing activity to react to feedback and address any resistance.
* Understanding and managing stakeholders' requirements and expectations across the business at a variety of levels.
* Being one of the programme senior leaders securing buy-in with senior stakeholders (including up to Board level).
* Creating and maintaining a strong relationship with other teams both within and outside of the programme (e.g. Internal Communications, Technology) to ensure engagement activities are aligned to ITV guidelines and plans.
* Supporting the ongoing development of ITV change methodologies and materials to build change capability.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
* Demonstrable experience of owning Change activity for transformation programmes within complex organisations.
* Maturity of skills and breadth of experience in change management principles, methodology and tools.
* Experience of working closely and influencing senior stakeholders and programme sponsors (to Board level).
* Experience of leading Change activities where the reliance has not been solely on top-down mandate from the Leadership team.
* Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to present to and engage teams at all levels in a way which resonates.
* Experience of managing a team to deliver multiple packages of work concurrently.
* Strong consultative, relationship management, networking and influencing skills.
* A proactive, resilient, forward-thinking team player.
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
* Experience within a creative or media organisation, particularly in the areas of sales, rights and distribution.
