Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Marketeer with experience within the Healthcare Industry (Med Tech) to join our Surgical Marketing team based at our Head Office in Camberley. Ideally, you will have expertise in Ophthalmology or medical device/capital equipment portfolios with proven success in developing and implementing a comprehensive channel marketing strategy for promoting ophthalmic solutions to HCPs and healthcare providers. The Surgical Product Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of portfolio and brand plans to achieve agreed brand financial targets and will take full ownership of product strategy, driving requirements for high-quality offerings that deliver exceptional value to customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establishing relationships with key opinion leaders, societies, and other healthcare organizations to build brand awareness and generate leads.
2. Working with cross-functional teams to localize marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, to support physician outreach and education initiatives.
3. Supporting physician education and training programs to increase awareness and adoption of healthcare products and services.
4. Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and develop strategies for differentiation.
5. Finding creative, out-of-the-box solutions in areas that are important to engage HCPs.
6. Developing and managing budgets for marketing initiatives, including events, digital marketing, and other promotional activities.
7. Working with international marketing, Europe team, sales team, strategic accounts, etc., to develop sales.
8. Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, including metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI.
9. Collaborating with other departments in the UK, International, and IMG to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
10. Staying up to date with healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in HCP marketing.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
2. Extensive experience in HCP marketing and relationship building; experience with capital equipment is preferred.
3. Proven experience in developing and executing successful channel marketing campaigns and initiatives.
4. Demonstrated experience in building, transforming, and growing rapidly in strategic accounts.
5. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
7. Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
8. Ability to analyze data and identify insights to inform marketing strategy.
9. Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Creative problem solver with a strong customer focus.
