Payroll Administrator & Processor and Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll Processing:
* Prepare and process accurate and timely payroll
* Manage PAYE, NI, and RTI submissions
* Generate and distribute payslips and employer reports
* Guide clients through auto enrolment requirements
* Manage pension scheme setup and administration
* Ensure compliance with pension regulations
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Respond to client inquiries and provide payroll advice
* Year-End Processes:
* Complete year-end payroll tasks, including P60s and reconciliations
* CIS Returns:
* Prepare and submit accurate CIS returns
What we need from you:
Key Skills and Competencies:
* Proven experience in payroll processing and administration
* Strong understanding of PAYE, NI, and other relevant legislation
* Experience with Auto Enrolment pension schemes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIPP) preferred but not essential
