Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children's learning and development
• Maintain a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive
• Assist with children's personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and rest times
• Build positive connections with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring clear and open communication
• Observe and record children's progress, celebrating achievements and identifying growth areas
• Collaborate with team members to foster a warm and inclusive nursery environment
• Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety policies consistently
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred
• Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
• Paediatric First Aid qualification is an advantage
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
