The company specialises in producing fully co-ordinated, clash-detected mechanical, electrical, and public health service drawings for the construction and infrastructure sectors. With projects ranging from large commercial schemes through to work in the healthcare sector, the company has a healthy pipeline of work over the next 10 years. The organisation was founded in 2003 and has built its reputation on providing a premium service linking concept and design to the needs of installers and operators to achieve compliance with building information modelling protocols. Your new role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced BIM Technician to join their team in Manchester. You will be required to produce and maintain accurate building information models and drawings of building services for use in all stages of the project using Revit. You will be working on the design, coordination, manufacture and installation of projects. Some of the current schemes include, MoJ, Health, Hotels, Aviation and Commercial.The role is based in the office where you will be working in a friendly and close-knit team right in the heart of Manchester City Centre. This role would ideally suit an experienced BIM Technician with experience in Revit and would like to join a stable, expanding, well-run business where you will enjoy variety within your role and be well looked after. What you'll need to succeed You will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working either in the same role or a similar position where Revit is used heavily, and you have worked in the building services' environment.You will need to be able to establish and develop good working relationships with both professionals and clients through good written and verbal communication. You will need to be able to work with minimal supervision and priorise your workload to meet deadlines.
