Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Mental Health - Milton Keynes
Start date: Role to start in April. This is a permanent opportunity and an excellent entry-level role for psychology graduates seeking long-term careers within educational or clinical psychology.
Ideal for Psychology or Health and Social Care Graduates before you decide on committing to an MSc/Doctorate and Research Project.
This role will allow you to see a range of therapists, SEN, ABA Tutors & Mental health specialists at work.
This role is all about giving the children a sense of purpose. Can you make the children's lives just that little bit better?
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support students with learning needs and Autism, delivering key and personal/functional skills.
2. Work with outstanding teaching and support teams, creating a holistic and positive atmosphere.
3. Engage with 55 students in classes of 6-8, varying in ability.
4. Participate in challenging contexts that build foundational experience.
Salary:
£460-£500 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30.
Important Note:
This is a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role that will put you into challenging, sometimes anti-social contexts. Understanding de-escalation and the language around it is incredibly important!
