Our client is a growing bakery manufacturing business renowned for supplying handcrafted, award-winning baked goods to some of the finest establishments in London. With a loyal client base that includes Michelin-starred restaurants and premium foodservice outlets, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business in a newly created position that offers lots of autonomy.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nIdentify and convert new business opportunities to drive company growth\nManage key national and independent accounts, including pricing negotiations and performance tracking\nBuild strong relationships with existing clients to maximise sales potential\nAnalyse sales data and customer buying trends to spot opportunities within current accounts\nPresent commercial updates and sales forecasts to company directors in monthly meetings\nDevelop marketing on promotional campaigns to boost brand and product visibility\nConduct competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge\nResolve customer issues promptly and professionally to ensure long-term satisfaction\nAttend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to grow your network and generate leads\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in a Business Development, Commercial, or Account Management role\nA proven track record of delivering sales growth within food manufacturing\nConfident negotiator with strong commercial awareness\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\nAbility to analyse data and turn insights into action\nSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships\nA genuine passion for food, particularly artisan or premium products\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to make a real impact in a high-quality, fast-paced environment.
