Position: Experienced CNC Machinist
Location: Labman HQ, Seamer, North Yorkshire
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000

Due to sustained growth, Labman is seeking to recruit an Experienced CNC Machinist to join the team.
Labman delivers bespoke robotics and software systems to major companies and public bodies all over the world. The job will be challenging and dynamic with opportunities to work with a huge range of established and emergent technologies, providing you with opportunities to learn and develop your skillset.
You will be working alongside a dedicated team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers at Labman’s HQ in North Yorkshire, UK. It is a creative and innovative environment, full of the latest robotic systems and technology. There will also be opportunities to travel within the UK and worldwide.

Essential Capabilities
* At least 5 years’ machining experience
* Able to work unsupervised and interpret engineering drawings to ISO 9001 Quality Standard
* Passion and enthusiasm for engineering
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Previous experience carrying out Quality Control checks
* Previous experience with calibration of measuring equipment
* Previous experience writing programs
Desirable Skills / Experience
* Experience programming or operating any of the following:
o Haas CNC mills (VF5, 3P)
o Haas CNC lathe (TL1)
o CNC Router (Texcel, CNC dynamics)
o XYZ Protrak controller
o Doosan turning centre (Lynx 220LM)
* Ability to create drawings from SolidWorks assemblies
* Experience costing jobs
* Experience training colleagues
* Experience/willing to expand skill to fabrication
* Experience maintaining machinery
