We are seeking a multi-skilled, hardworking, and enthusiastic Guillotine / Warehouse Operator to join the Warehouse team which services the requirements of our busy print factory.
The postholder must be able to follow standard operating procedures, work in a methodical and tidy manner, be a good team player and possess a good working knowledge of the specified operations.

Professional experience:
* At least one year’s experience in a warehouse or factory environment.
* Experience in guillotine operations is desirable but comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Duties:
* Receiving, moving, checking and storing incoming goods.
* Undertake the instructions from the works orders.
* Cutting white paper to size.
* Preparing white paper for various printing processes.
* Delivering prepared white paper to printing equipment in a timely fashion.
* Loading and unloading lorries, vans, and other vehicles.
* Operating counterbalance forklift and pallet trucks to move goods around.
* Moving and organising stock in the warehouse.
* Monitoring and managing stock levels.
* Driving panel van to move stock to/from other warehouses.
* Accurately updating stock into recording systems.
* Maintaining company vehicles, forklifts, and various warehouse equipment.
Competencies:
* Holding a counterbalance forklift licence.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Guillotine operator.
* Paper handling skills (paper reams up to 1020mm wide).
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Experience of working in a fast-paced, target-driven warehouse or factory environment.
* Physically able to lift and move heavy loads, packages, and objects throughout the shift.
* Ability to understand and follow written procedures and processes accurately.
* Quality-conscious, accurate, and efficient.
* Polite customer-facing communication.
* Experience with stock management software could be an advantage.

* An enthusiastic team player.
* Efficient, energetic work ethic.
* Attention to detail.
* Willingness to work overtime at short notice; and at weekends with notice.
Position:
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, day shift (Monday to Friday: 8am to 3.30pm continuous 7.5-hour shift, or 8am to 4pm with unpaid 30-minute meal break).
