Sanctuary Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Ward Manager to oversee our client's 12-bed male acute unit at a well-established mental health hospital. This facility offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient specialist mental health services for adults within a secure and supportive setting.

Job Description:
They are looking for a dedicated Ward Manager to take on a key leadership role within their male acute unit. The successful candidate will be instrumental in upholding their high standards of patient care and contributing to the ongoing success of their services.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the daily operations of the unit.
2. Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing and healthcare team.
3. Oversee and implement individualized patient care plans with a focus on recovery.
4. Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care.
6. Drive continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
7. Mentor and support staff, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications:
1. Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid license.
2. Experience in a managerial or leadership role within a healthcare setting.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. A commitment to patient-centred care, quality, and safety.
5. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
