Work alongside a team of Contract Administrators, Co-Ordinators, lead by a Service and Delivery Manager. Liaising between Engineers, residents and office team. We are a rapidly growing business and have a number of colleagues who’ve progressed during their time here, with 8 promotions across the business last year.
Hours Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm, 30 min lunch break or Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm, 60 min lunch break.
37 hours 30 minutes a week.
Duration: 1 year 9 months.
Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
* Assist with the successful delivery of contracts, for both reactive and planned works in line with deadlines.
* Answer phone calls/email in a professional manner and handle any queries/issues with ease.
* Provide administrative support for Contract Coordinators and the Team Manager.
* Research, prepare and supply information, as requested.
* Allocate work and tasks for field engineers/operatives in line with schedules and programmes, on our Works Management System (WMS).
* Book in appointments over the phone and with letters with residents/building managers for planned works.
* Raise Purchase Orders for materials and subcontractors.
* Rename and send completed certificates/jobs.
* Undertake day-to-day typing and administration in association with the contracts.
* Maintain relevant contract tracking spreadsheets/client systems and portals.
* Assist and take ownership of customer requests and queries.

Requirements
GCSE in:
* Maths and English (grade A-C or 4-9 or equivalent).

Excellent telephone manner required and comfortable with making regular calls. Ambitious, with a willingness to learn, adapt and understand instructions. Ability to work under pressure, manage their workload well.
