About the Company - Safe Haven Adolescent Care Group is an Ofsted Registered company that provides loving homes for children who cannot live with their families. The company has 3 homes who care for only one child at a time. Two of the homes are rated 'GOOD' and one is 'OUTSTANDING' with Ofsted. We are recruiting for two Deputy Managers to join our passionate and motivated team to work in either our Retford or Dinnington homes.

About the Home – This home’s purpose is to make supportive, comforting and happy homes for Children who have experienced trauma, neglect or abuse. Their homes allow the children a place where they can feel loved and listened to, so that they can open up about their issues and find ways to move on and live happy fulfilled lives.
About the Role – We require a Deputy Manager in the home who can support and lead the team to help our children in the best way possible. We require Deputy Managers who are caring, nurturing, resilient and patient and be able to reflect with their teams on the child they are supporting to see the reasons underneath the behaviours. You must proactively strive to create a safe environment where the children feel heard and cared for. As a growing company, there may be opportunities for progression in the future. You will be expected to complete a level 5 qualification within this role.
Role Requirements -
Essential - 2 years working in children's homes in the past 5 years, 1 year working in a senior / leader or deputy position where you have completed supervisions with staff and a Level 3 diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (Social Work Degree)
Desirable - NVQ Level 5 Caring for Children and Young People / Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce.
This role would suit a Senior who wants to progress in their career or an experienced Deputy Manager with proven history of positive outcomes with Ofsted.
Please note: This role is shift based work with some Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm hours and includes on call weekend responsibility. You will also need to be aware that there are times where you would need to be flexible and work outside of these times to support the shift cover in the home you are managing, including nights and sleeps.
On call pay is £100 per weekend and additional £50 per sleep is paid.
