About the Role!
To work on shift within a manufacturing operational environment which specializes in assembling and testing flexible oil pipes. The role requires the ability to read and interpret routine instructions, perform basic mathematical calculations, possess mechanical aptitude, and drive a forklift to obtain certification. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure any tooling/equipment used on the shop floor is returned to the required location once finished.
* Carry out duties in-line with required company 5S standards (visual display/tidiness).
* Perform any duties requested by on-shift supervisor/lead operator to support assembly and testing operations.
* Carry out duties in-line with HSE regulations.
* Follow SOIs and Risk Assessments.
* Ensure all tooling is returned to dedicated storage locations when finished on operations.
* Complete any requests from stores/warehouse for items when required and deliver to the shop floor.
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have experience in manufacturing.
* Possess forklift truck certification.
* Have knowledge of lifting/slinging.
* Understand crane operations.
* Be familiar with hand power tools.
* Understand assembly drawings and follow instructions.
* Have a foundation in HSE regulations.
* Be knowledgeable in 5S/Lean practices.
* Understand quality management systems.
