Twice a week or eight days a month in our Edinburgh office
We are looking for a Software Engineer—Level 2—to join our Internal Engineering team. Do application and network API (Application Programming Interfaces) development in languages such as Golang, TypeScript and Python.
Pragmatically implement testing to ensure the viability of the proposed technical solution and resolve any issues in advance of go-live.
Ensure that the software is working effectively following go-live.
Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to optimise stability and performance.
Support the creation and implementation of integrations between partner and Adarma technologies.
Document security standards, solutions, data flows, procedures and other technical information as required.
Provide support in the discovery and evaluation of innovative technologies to maximise development efficiency and performance.
Mentor and oversight of software engineers.
Proven experience in programming/software engineering and may hold a degree in IT or a related subject.
Experience in scripting and programming languages such as Golang, Python, and TypeScript is essential.
Experience in systems administration, including Linux/Windows, is important.
Hold a good understanding of common network protocols, especially
Good working knowledge of software development methodologies.
Demonstrable experience with either Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud environments.
