Salary: GBP48000 - GBP52000 per annum
Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Manager looking for a new challenge, working for a leading Industrial equipment supplier organisation based in Derby? As a Maintenance Manager, you will have experience working within a manufacturing company previously and will be supporting our customer through the effective management of a team of Maintenance Engineers. You will be producing reports and working alongside our customer to provide a safe, productive environment. Offering a salary of up to £52K DOE.
Job Role:
1. Providing mechanical and electrical support services at Healthcare sites.
2. Reporting regularly on breakdowns and potential improvements.
3. Giving hands-on and technical support to engineers.
4. Preparing and managing risk assessments & method statements for working processes.
5. Supervising working practices whilst controlling quality, performance, and costs; ensuring procedures are followed.
6. Ensuring spares are used effectively and maintaining spare part stocks and records.
7. Reporting on activities to be maintained as required.
8. Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customer and their team members.
9. Submitting a weekly timesheet to HR and ensuring backup is in place to submit in manager’s absence, meeting final monthly deadlines to ensure timely payment of overtime.
10. Providing managerial absence cover to other sites at Sheffield, Dunstable, and St Helens as required.
11. Managing task allocation within the team and keeping personnel on track.
12. Managing team workload levels and reviewing requests for working additional hours.
13. Ensuring planned schedules and deadlines are achieved.
14. Meeting managerial requirements for Maintenance engineers that report into you.

1. Strong communication and people/customer skills.
2. Multi-skilled maintenance background.
3. Able to lead and develop teams and individuals.
4. Able to develop maintenance and H&S systems.
5. Able to be hands-on.
Hours of Work:
40 per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30 including a 30 min break. Flexible hours with an element of weekend working to meet customer needs. Additional hours at customer’s request accrued at x1.5 the hourly rate. Option to take time off in lieu or have hours paid out.
