Teachers will prepare and deliver up to 5 hours of lessons a day, 4-5 days per week, depending on the centre.
Lessons are based on current EFL materials in accordance with the Bede’s syllabus and are prepared with the help of the Academic Manager and/or Senior Teacher. Lesson planning takes place in the teachers’ room during the afternoon after lessons. Teachers are encouraged to assist with a wide range of sports, activities, and clubs in the afternoon activity sessions, but their priority is always to prepare high-quality lessons.
One afternoon or evening per week, as part of our commitment to teachers’ professional development, the Academic Manager and/or Senior Teacher lead a 30-minute input session that all teachers must attend.
During the week, teachers will be required to assist with a small number of residential duties, such as meal time duties and wake-up duties.
On Fridays, all Teachers attend the leavers’ ceremony and personally hand their students their certificates and Teacher’s Reports. #J-18808-Ljbffr
