Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Paediatric Radiology Nursing team at Wythenshawe Hospital. The post holder will work directly with children undergoing anaesthesia or sedation for imaging investigations such as magentic resonance (MR) scans in the new MR suite. Working as a recovery nurse within the Paediatric Radiology team, you'll be providing the highest standards of care and making a difference to the lives of children across Manchester and beyond. The post-holder will primarily work at Wythenshawe Hospital but may be required to work within the Radiology Department at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital if required. Main duties of the job The post holder will prioritise, assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of care to an agreed and expected high standard, with their primary role being in recovery to care for patients post-anaesthesia or sedation. They will work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team alongside Radiographers, Anaesthetists, and ODPs and contribute to the processes that promote patient safety and quality of care in for the patients in their care.
