Main duties of the job
Are you a passionate Project Manager, with a drive to improve the experience of our patients, relatives and carers? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to cover a 12 month maternity leave. This Project Manager role sits within the amazing Experience of Care team and will support some key workstreams including the Fundamentals of Care, Veteran Care at UHS, the utilisation of grants and external funding to reduce Health Inequalities across UHS and in our communities, plus many more.

Job responsibilities
* Experience in delivering professional project management using appropriate tools and techniques.

* Application of highly developed influencing and negotiating skills, using these skills to successfully challenge current practice and offer new solutions for working.
* This role will largely be based on site, driving and implementing projects but we can offer some flexibility.
Person Specification
Qualifications training required
* Educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Master's Degree in relevant subject or equivalent.
* PRINCE2 or equivalent experience.
Previous or relevant experience necessary
* Experience of project management.
* Understanding of managing websites and digital-based projects.
* Understanding of the software and programmes that complement the point directly above.
* Experience of project management within the NHS or similar complex organisation.
* Understanding of children's services.
Aptitudes and skills required
* Experience of managing complex facts, of analysing, interpreting and comparing a range of data as well as the ability to identify a theme, or emerging themes.
* Be a confident and competent computer user with good IT skills and experience of using applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
* Experience of working in teams, an awareness of their own impact on other people and ability to influence and motivate a wide range of non-directly managed staff.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 a year (pa or pa pro rata)
