Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Project Administrator for our client, a well-established company based in Lanarkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a projects team, providing key administrative support and ensuring the smooth coordination of project works.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for processing new projects, collating essential documentation, and managing various administrative tasks to support project delivery. This role requires excellent organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Compile quotations for projects.
Process new projects within the system, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and maintained.
Prepare comprehensive work packs for engineers, including drawings, equipment lists, and other essential materials.
Raise equipment orders as required to support the Project Manager.
Organise accommodation and overnight allowances for project teams.
Compile and submit O&M manuals in line with project requirements.
Liaise with contractors to gather necessary details for setting up new accounts.
Update and maintain monthly financial reports to track project progress.
Generate and submit applications for payment and invoices.
Attend and actively contribute to project meetings.
Plan works to support project timelines and ensure efficient execution.
Carry out ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to assist the projects division.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a similar Project Administrator role, ideally within an engineering, construction, or projects-based environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing project documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and proactively support the projects team.
Offering
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm & Friday, 8am - 4pm
Holidays: 31 days (including 3 fixed public holidays over Christmas and New Year)
