After an initial induction period, the post holder will undertake 6-9 month rotations in the following areas: adult oncology/haematology, aseptics and paediatric oncology. The postholder will be expected to help facilitate and co-ordinate the delivery of direct patient care to paediatric and adult oncology patients in the Royal Alexandra Childrens Hospital (RACH) and the Royal Sussex County Hospital, respectively; as well as provide support to the Lead Pharmacist for the delivery, development, evaluation and co-ordination of clinical pharmacy services to other patients of the Division in line with the objectives of the speciality. The postholder will contribute to all aspects of clinical governance including clinical risk, clinical audit and education and teaching.
