Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civils Construction Manager to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based at our Tunbridge Wells office, overseeing projects across the Kent and Sussex regions. As a key leader within the business, the Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality, managing budgets efficiently, and driving adherence to project timelines.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising all stages of construction projects to ensure efficient execution.
* Managing project budgets and resources effectively.
* Enforcing rigorous health and safety standards across all sites.
* Coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Monitoring and controlling project timelines to meet client expectations.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will possess:
* Proven supervisory experience with strong project control capabilities.
* Expertise in budgeting, resource allocation, and construction safety practices.
* Demonstrated success in managing construction projects from inception to completion.
* Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively.
* Outstanding communication and leadership abilities to inspire and guide teams effectively.
* In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
* SMSTS certificate or equivalent site management safety accreditation.
* A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential with equivalent experience).
