Job Description: As a Website Builder & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining websites that meet the unique needs of our clients. You will collaborate with our design and content teams to create functional, responsive, and aesthetically pleasing websites, ensuring they are optimized for performance and user experience. You will also provide ongoing maintenance and technical support, ensuring sites run smoothly and stay secure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or custom frameworks.
2. Ensure website functionality, user experience, and performance are optimized.
3. Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement website changes and updates.
4. Perform regular website maintenance, including software updates, backups, and security checks.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, such as bugs, broken links, and performance bottlenecks.
6. Optimize websites for SEO and mobile responsiveness.
7. Ensure website compliance with industry standards and best practices.
8. Provide technical support and training to internal teams or clients as needed.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Website Builder, Web Developer, or similar role.
2. Proficiency in web programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
3. Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, or Shopify.
4. Familiarity with web hosting platforms and domain management.
5. Understanding of website security protocols and SEO best practices.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
8. Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills:
1. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and payment gateway integration.
2. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
3. Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
