Our warm and welcoming residential home for young people aged from 8 up to 17 require a hardworking, passionate Deputy Manager based in Long Benningotn. We are looking for people who are as passionate as we are about providing the best care and outcomes for the young people entrusted to us. As a vital part of the team, your key role will be helping and supporting the Registered Manager on a daily basis, as the Manager is dual registered you would be expected to step up and run the home essentially in their absence. We are an established and respected provider of residential care across the Midlands and Northampton, we have over the years supported our young people to transition into adulthood smoothly, all our homes currently hold a 'good' or 'outstanding'rating with Ofsted. We are looking for someone willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people. You will be responsible for the safeguarding of the children and young people in your care. You will understand the needs of the children and young people and ensure all staff work with them to deliver positive outcomes. All applicants must have extensive experience within UK based children's residential care and at least 12 months Senior/Team leader experience and can demonstrate strong leadership skills. Please note we do not provide any form of sponsorship for this position To be successful in this role of Deputy Manager it is essential you have the following skills and attributes. Must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and or willing to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care Good working knowledge and understanding of current care legislation Place high quality outcomes at the heart of everything in the residential home Understand the importance of providing flexible and personalised packages to meet the needs of every young person A current full UK driving licence Shifts will be a mix of 9-5 and some sleep shifts, but we are happy to negotiate shift patterns at interview stage.
