Unlock your Superpower, It’s an exciting time to join National Grid as a CDM Advisor.
You will have the chance to build a meaningful and fulfilling career and play a part in delivering electricity safely. Your role comes with a lot of variety, from different substation locations to the people on those sites, both employees and contractors. You’ll receive training that is required for your role and over time have a wider exposure to the business and supply chain which is great for your personal development. We're flexible on your base location with hybrid working, mostly from home but carrying out site visits as required.
You will be part of the recently formed CDM Advisor team who are constantly developing and evolving their support services across the Asset Operations business. This will entail acting as subject matter experts, providing guidance and consultation, as well as solution finding across a range of topics including project delivery, documentation content, strategic planning, and training content.

Initially, you will support our Cyber project portfolio (installations of physical cyber security equipment on substation sites across England and Wales) as a principal designer covering multiple sites and different phases of the works.
