Our client, a leading consultancy in the delivery of planning, environmental assessments, and preliminary design services within the renewable energy sector, is seeking to appoint a Principal Renewable Energy Engineer (Civil) to join their expanding Energy Team.
This role will support the expansion of their Energy and Planning business and offers exposure to a wide range of infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and review technical report preparation
· Plan and manage design activities within multidisciplinary project teams
· Prepare and review tenders and proposals
· Line management responsibilities
· Ensure compliance with QA, H&S regulations, and management systems
· Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
· Manage and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements:
· Degree in Civil Engineering
· Minimum of 12 years' post-graduate experience
· Chartered Engineer status
· Experience in project management and preliminary civil design for renewable energy projects (desirable)
· Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills
· Experience engaging with clients, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
· Ability to work independently and within a team
· Full driving license required
