Lead Reporting and Data Analyst\n3-month interim contract to start March 2025\nWest Midlands\n£400 per day Inside IR35 (via umbrella)\nHybrid with requirement as 1 day per week in person\n\n CV's are being reviewed immediately and interviews will be taking place week commencing 24th March 2025.\n\nYou will lead in the designing and maintenance of statutory and operational reporting for Children’s Social Care, providing expert knowledge and guidance to teams and people on technical best practice and manage a team of 3 Data Analysts.\n\nYour Role as Lead Reporting and Data Analyst:\n\nEffectively communicate business requirements clearly to the team to ensure joint understanding, and working closely with the Mosaic development team to keep up to date with the changes on the case management system which then needs to be reflected in our statutory and operational reports\nEnsuring that the architecture of the data warehouse is fit for purpose\nEnsuring data accuracy in all reports the team produces, or address issues with Children’s Services if user input of Mosaic is the issue\nLead in the implementation of the agile methodology process within the team and be instrumental in educating other areas of the business\nCollaborate and partner with all parts and levels of the organisation as an expert technical advisor\nLead in the application of agile techniques to ensure digital solutions meet the requirements of both the business and the user, providing simple, functional, flawless and quick delivery\nLead on improving customer satisfaction and engagement\nResearch and identify BI options for existing and new services to aid service improvement\nDesign and deliver digital solutions using your expert knowledge of SSRS and SQL\nMaintain and apply up to date, specialist knowledge of database concepts, object and data modelling techniques and design principles and assist BI developers in these areas\nProvide secure information provision and ensure full compliance of GDPR in our reports \n\n Your previous experience as Lead Reporting and Data Analyst Care:\n\nYou will have overseen statutory reporting for Children Social Care\nYou have expert knowledge and skills in the architecture of the data warehouse\nYou will have expert knowledge and skills in writing SQL scripts for accurate statutory returns and operational reporting\nYou will have knowledge and understanding of Children’s social care case management system (ideally Mosaic)\nYou will have a sound knowledge and skills on creating BI solutions, especially PowerBI dashboards and SSRS\nYou will have line managed Data Analysts or equivalent\nYou will work closely with the Data Lead, Business Systems Analysts for Mosaic, Children’s Services, the Education Analysts, and the rest of the organisation. \n\n If you’re interested in discussing this opportunity in more detail or know someone who this may be of interest to, please contact Sarah Macrae on (phone number removed) or apply today.\n \n(We offer a senior referral scheme upon successful placement of your recommendation so please do get in contact)\n\n Our clients are passionate about creating and evolving a diverse workforce and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant.
