Cover all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations to fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, meeting Quality Standards and achieving Service Level Agreements and departmental KPIs. This role is based at our Cardiff DC site.
KEY ACTIVITIES
The duties that the successful candidate will undertake include:
1. Order Collation and Packing
o Collate stock to orders using scanners, pack, and prepare for dispatch within Company guidelines.
o Ensure all documentation is correctly completed and maintained.
o Keep warehouse and working areas clean and tidy.
o Maintain stock accuracy using stock rotation and promptly report any discrepancies.
2. Stock Receipt
o Receive incoming goods and check paperwork for the group of Companies when required.
o Assist with booking in and placing stock in appropriate positions using scanners and desktop software.
o Maintain quality, batch control, and traceability of stock.
o Ensure cut products are easily identifiable using the required identifier.
3. Perpetual Inventory Checking
o Complete periodic accurate stock checks, reporting discrepancies to the Deputy Manager.
o Maintain product quality and storage conditions at the highest possible standard.
o Ensure correct stock rotation.
4. Other Duties
o Accurately customize products to the required standard when demand requires.
o Ensure customized products are easily identifiable using the required identifier.
o Report all cutting quality issues to the Customization Team Leader or deputy.
5. Objectives
o Ensure all orders are picked and packed accurately.
o Maintain the warehouse in good condition.
o Ensure regular stock rotation.
o Check and sign for all incoming goods when required.
o Meet Company ISO Quality Standards.
6. Measure of Performance
o Number of complaints received regarding incorrect dispatches.
o Number of complaints received regarding poor customization.
o Completion of training to perform all responsibilities.
7. Other

KEY SKILLS
* Demonstrated competency in English and Maths.
* Experience using digital warehouse stock control systems.
* Experience in a warehouse environment.
* Ability to write clear and concise English.
* Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
* Flexible and proactive approach.
* Experience with warehouse systems (e.g., SAGE, SAP).
* Conscientious and able to work independently with limited supervision.
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal
* Team of 30 working at the Cardiff DC.
* Collaboration with other internal departments to ensure quality service.
External
* Communicating with couriers and visitors to the Cardiff DC site.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week between 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Additional hours may be required to meet business needs.
* Must be able to commute to the Cardiff DC site and be open to travel within the UK.
