Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Care Home (Ofsted Regulated)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Registered Manager to register with and run an Ofsted-registered children’s care home. The home provides high-quality residential care for children aged 8-17 with learning disabilities, autism, and complex mental health needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic leader to make a real impact by driving standards of care, inspiring staff, and fostering a nurturing environment for young people. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the new home operates efficiently and meets all regulatory and quality standards, while also building positive relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
* Registered Manager status for the purpose of Ofsted Registration.
* Leading the care home to achieve and maintain exceptional standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
* Ensuring the well-being, safety, and development of all children in the home.
* Overseeing the daily operations of the home, including staff recruitment, supervision, and training.
* Developing care plans and behaviour support strategies tailored to the needs of each child.
* Promoting a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
* Managing budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively.
* Building and maintaining relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an Ofsted-registered manager in a children’s residential care setting (1 year minimum)
* A strong understanding of complex care needs, autism, and challenging behaviours.
* Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* A proactive and empathetic approach to managing and mentoring teams.
* The ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary framework.
* A full UK driver’s license (preferred).
* Level 3 Mandatory Training (essential).
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (essential).
* A Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (essential).
* The right to work in the UK (essential).
