About The Role
What You’ll Do:
As our Learning & Development Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Develop and Deliver Social care Training: Design and present high-quality training programs for our dedicated care staff across the South and Southwest, primarily covering Wiltshire, Somerset, and Dorset. Whether you’re training small groups, large teams, or delivering sessions virtually, your work will be instrumental in shaping our workforce to deliver high quality, regulated care
Harness Technology: Support and manage our Learning Management System (LMS) to create, organise, and track course content effectively.
Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with Registered managers to assess training needs, develop tailored courses, and continuously refine our programs for maximum impact and learning opportunities. Ensuring our training is compliant and up to date, assessing competence and creating a confident workforce.
Support Our Teams: Provide guidance and support to help our diverse care staff excel in their roles and reach their full potential. Support busy operational registered managers to complete competency assessments.
What You’ll Bring:
We’re seeking someone with:
***Essential***
Experience in Social Care: A solid background in the Social Care sector with hands-on experience in delivering training programs and understanding CQC and regulatory requirements.
Ability to Travel: You will be required to travel across various locations for your role. Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel is essential in this role.
Knowledge of LMS: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and their implementation.
Relevant Qualifications: You will possess or currently working towards the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or PTLLS.
Excellent Communication Skills: You can effectively engage and motivate learners, both in-person and online, recognising various learning styles and adapting accordingly, ensuring your learners are confident and work ready.
Flexibility and Proactivity: You’re self-motivated, organised, and ready to travel to various locations across the South and Southwest as needed.
Creativity: You will craft training experiences that bring out the best in our staff, creating opportunities to enhance their knowledge and understanding of key care tasks.
Commitment: Build respectful, trusting, and productive relationships with registered managers and operational teams.
