National Business Development Manager - Promat

This is a senior level role reporting directly to the Promat commercial director, the holder will have a high degree of autonomy in identifying and creating the strategy for developing valuable areas of new business. They shall work at the front end of projects, to introduce and gain commitment from designers to include Promat systems within their project specifications.
What you’ll do:
1. Develop and execute strategies to unlock new business opportunities in passive fire protection.
2. Work closely with designers to introduce and secure Promat systems within project specifications.
3. Collaborate with the specification team on technical documentation and with the commercial team to price and close projects.
4. Focus on projects with material values between £50k–£1m, while also developing long-term strategic customer relationships.
5. Contribute to marketing and product management strategies to enhance Promat’s market presence and effectiveness.
What you’ll bring:
1. Proven success in developing new business, ideally within the construction sector.
2. Experience selling technical solutions to large scale complex projects or businesses, ideally within the construction sector.
3. Ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels, influencing and building relationships.
