Located in the picturesque and historic area of South Lanarkshire, our luxury 75-bed care home provides residential, dementia, nursing, and respite care in a warm and welcoming environment.
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to lead and support our night team, ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care. Your leadership will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and compassionate atmosphere in our home.
What You’ll Do
✔ Lead the Night Team – Oversee and support care staff, ensuring a smooth-running shift
✔ Deliver High-Quality Care – Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines
✔ Administer Medication – Manage, document, and oversee medication processes
✔ Person-Centred Approach – Uphold dignity, independence, and wellbeing in every interaction
✔ Team Leadership – Provide guidance, mentorship, and motivation to your team
✔ Documentation & Compliance – Keep care plans and risk assessments up to date
✔ Respond to Emergencies – Act swiftly and professionally to ensure resident safety
What We Offer
✔ £13.00 per hour (Full time or Part Time contract)
✔ Shift: 8PM – 8AM (Full-time & part-time contracts available)
✔ £500 Welcome Bonus (£250 after 3 months, £250 after 6 months)

What We’re Looking For
✔ SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or actively working towards it)
✔ Medication administration training & competency
✔ Strong leadership skills – Ability to guide, support, and motivate a team
✔ A compassionate and person-centred approach
