Their iconic 19th century warehouse building accommodates 40 luxurious one- and two-bedroom flats, blending their opulent characteristics with the latest home technology in an environment managed by a dedicated team of experts. Job Summary As an Assistant Manager, you will assist with the daily operations of the property, uphold a high standard of presentation, maintain high occupancy levels, and deliver an exceptional resident experience. You will act as the primary liaison for residents, ensuring their needs are met while fostering a welcoming and professional environment. You will have the autonomy to manage your daily work while collaborating closely with and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), making this role ideal for a self-driven, versatile, and exceptionally organised individual with a keen eye for presentation, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to getting things done. What youll be doing Property Management Ensuring the property maintains a high occupancy rate by effectively managing resident enquiries and contract renewals Overseeing the daily operations of the property, ensuring it remains in immaculate condition, including show flats and communal areas Conducting regular property inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance Responding promptly and professionally to resident concerns, maintenance requests, and emergencies Collaborating with maintenance and cleaning teams to ensure timely issue resolution Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations Keeping accurate records of property performance, including occupancy levels, resident feedback, and maintenance issues Resident Experience and Engagement Acting as the first point of contact for residents, fostering positive relationships and ensuring their needs are met Managing the full resident experience, from initial inquiries to move-ins, lease renewals, and departure Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a seamless and enjoyable tenancy experience Organising and facilitating resident engagement initiatives and events to build a sense of community Handling resident complaints and disputes with professionalism and efficiency Sales & Marketing Managing property listings on platforms such as Rightmove and social media to attract prospective residents Conducting property viewings and promoting available units effectively Your background & required skills Required Experience in property management, lettings, or hospitality Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously A proactive and self-motivated approach to work with excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the wider team High attention to detail, particularly regarding property presentation and resident experience Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Desirable Knowledge of tenancy legislation, including AST agreements and deposit protection regulations Experience in Sales or Marketing within the Real Estate sector Prior experience managing resident engagement and community-building initiatives Benefits Competitive salary and bonus structure A supportive and dynamic work environment They celebrate diversity and welcome all qualified applicants regardless of their background.
