About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Tester with a strong background in manual testing and test automation, specifically within ServiceNow ITSM and Automate Pro (Automation) frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium, solid knowledge of ITSM module testing, and a proven track record in the financial sector, preferably with UK banks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for the ServiceNow ITSM module and Automate Pro.
2. Perform manual testing of ServiceNow workflows and ensure alignment with business requirements.
3. Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium for ServiceNow applications.
4. Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, ITSM leads, and stakeholders to identify and remediate defects.
5. Validate configurations and customizations of ServiceNow ITSM and Automate Pro solutions.
6. Participate in end-to-end testing processes, including regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
7. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and financial regulatory requirements.
8. Generate comprehensive test documentation, including defect reports and testing summaries.
Required Skills and Experience
1. ServiceNow ITSM Expertise: In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM workflows and processes.
2. Automate Pro (Automation): Familiarity with creating and remediating Automate Pro solutions.
3. Selenium Proficiency: Proven experience in writing and executing automated test scripts.
4. Manual Testing: Strong manual testing expertise, with a focus on ServiceNow modules.
5. Financial Sector Experience:
6. Defect Management: Expertise in identifying, logging, and remediating defects efficiently.
7. Testing Tools: Proficiency in using test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
8. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Certification in ServiceNow Certified Application Specialist - ITSM or equivalent.
2. Experience with other ServiceNow modules or tools within financial institutions.
3. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards within UK banking.
