The Deluxe Group, a leading provider of bespoke joinery services, is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join its Finance Team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and administration, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Processing and reconciling supplier transactions from input through to verification;
2. Preparing draft supplier payment runs and addressing payment inquiries;
3. Managing the Construction Industry Scheme, verifying sub-contractors' time sheets and invoices;
4. Preparing weekly and monthly payroll;
5. Performing administrative tasks, such as maintaining document management systems, filing, and handling telephone inquiries;
6. Identifying process improvements;
7. Assisting with global travel arrangements;
8. Maintaining electronic document systems.
Essential criteria for the role include:
1. At least 2 years' experience in an accounts/administration role in a busy office environment;
2. Practical knowledge of computerized accounts packages;
3. Excellent skills in computerized systems, particularly Excel;
4. Good communication skills and a professional telephone manner;
5. Strong and diligent work ethic with excellent attention to detail;
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Desirable skills include:
1. Previous experience in a similar industry;
2. Experience with Sage Line 50 and Eque 2 Contract Management Software.
This position may suit a candidate in the final stages of their Higher Level Apprenticeship or considering IATI.
